If you’re trying to break into tech or level up your career, certifications can make a huge difference. They show not just what you know—but that you're serious about learning and growing in your field.
Right now, I’m preparing for the CompTIA Security+ exam. It’s a globally recognized certification that proves you understand essential cybersecurity principles—things like risk management, network security, threats, and cryptography. It’s a great foundation for anyone in security or IT.

Why Security+ First?
Security+ is a smart starting point for anyone interested in cybersecurity. It’s vendor-neutral, which means the skills apply across all kinds of systems and environments. Plus, it’s often required (or at least preferred) for roles in government or enterprise security jobs.
What’s Next?
After Security+, I’m planning to go for a networking certification, likely CompTIA Network+. Knowing how networks work underneath the surface helps with troubleshooting, security, and understanding real-world tech environments. It’s the perfect next step.
Studying Smart
I mix official study guides with online practice tests, YouTube videos, and hands-on labs. The key is consistency and making time to really understand the concepts—not just memorize them.
Final Thoughts
Certifications aren’t everything—but they open doors, boost your confidence, and make your resume stand out. I’m taking my career seriously, and certifications are a big part of that journey.
If you're thinking about doing the same—go for it! The work pays off.
